Duo Bandini-Chiacchiareta

The duo Giampaolo Bandini – Cesare Chiacchieretta, guitar und bandoneon was founded 2002 to promote the fascination and the magic of tango by its most prestigious instruments. Soon the duo had an important position in the international concerts market. It became popular all over the world: 2002 they performed the duo concert “Hommage a Liegi” by Astor Piazzolla under Leo Brouwer in Parma. 2004 the duo was awarded the “Beniamino Joppolo” prize of the city of Patti for their musical achievements. 2005 they played in the great hall of the philharmonics in St. Petersburg for the first time. Their tours lead them to Mexico, Romania, Poland, Austria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Holland.

Giampaolo Bandini is one of the best guitarist of his generation.Many awards, performances all over the world and the nomination for the best Italian guitarist by the magazine “Guitart” prove the qualitiy of the guitarist.

Cesare Chiacchiaretta has a passion for the music of Astor Piazzolla and as chamber musician and soloist he got many international awards.
