Artistic education
Born 1967 in Graz. Studied with Prof. Irmgard Gahl at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg and with Prof . Ernst Kovacic in Vienna. Intensive occupation with the baroque violine (lessons with Prof. N. Harnoncourt).
Artistic career
Intesive concert activity as member of several groups like the "Hyperion Ensemble" and "Camerata Salzburg".
Teaching activity
Since 1993 lecturer for violine at the university „Mozarteum“.
Werner Neugebauers instrument is a violin of Francesco Rugieri from 1696, a generous loan of prince Starhemberg.
