Artistic Education
Born into a family of musicians he got interested in different instruments very early. Although he started to take regularly piano lessons not until the age of 15 with Adrian Oetiker, with whom he studied at the Academy of music in Basel as well. Additionally he was educated as hornist at the Academy of Music in Luzern. Masterstudies with Homero Francesch and further artistic stimulation through Lazar Berman, Andrzej Jasinski, John O’Conor, Maurizio Pollini, Menahem Pressler, Andràs Schiff und Gérard Wyss.
Artistic career
Concerts all over Europe, in India, North- and South America. Performances at important music festivals like Davos, Gstaad, Ludwigsburg, Luzern and Zurich and concerthalls like Beethovenhalle Bonn, Wigmore Hall London, Tschaikowsky Konservatorium Moskow, Konzerthaus Wien. Beside his solistic activities he is member oft he sucessful Tecchler Trio, which won the ARD-Music Competition in 2007.
