The monastery Rein, founded 1129, is the oldest Cistercian monastery with a uniteruppted existence in the world. It is also called the "craddle of Styria" and houses not only the assumed remains of the benefactor 'Markgraf Leopold I' but also the medieval biblary and shows building history from Gothic to Baroque.
