The Oberst Klinke Chalet was built in 1939/40 as a training camp for the mountain infantry. Since the re-opening in 2007 the chalet is run by the family Raxendorfer. By friendly service, homemade cooking and numerous events they bring life into the chalet again.
Situated at 1486m, the Kaiblings peak is not far from the chalet and also the Riffel, the Sparafeld, the Eisloch and other popular destinations are close by. The 120 beds offer the whole year round an opportunity to stay overnight. The huge parking space in front of the chalet is very convenient if you want to go there by car.
