The clarinet ensemble Quintetto GRAZioso was founded in December 2007. It comprises two clarinets, two basset horns and bass clarinet. The quintet members study with Gerald Pachinger at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz.
The repertoire of the quintet, which is rehearsed with Peter Forcher, ranges from Baroque music arrangements to contemporary music, with a focus on the works of Austrian composers.
In 2008 the ensemble took part in the master class ClariArte Hartberg and expanded its repertoire in cooperation with the Vienna Clarinet Connection.
In June 2009 Quintetto GRAZioso was selected for Yehudi Menuin’s foundation Live Music Now.
