Prelude

Hot, fiery and passionate act the "Gypsy Devils" together with Paul Gulda, to devote themselves to the music of the Hungarian Gypsies and Franz Liszt. Their music has been loved for centuries, but they themselves are often treated with contempt. The Roma and their fabulous, pristine musicality have deeply impressed Liszt. And so folk music meets art music, written notes meet improvisation and boundaries are blurred and irrelevant on this evening.
