The square baroque building was built between 1696 and 1716 imitating the style of the Italian architect Domenico Sciassia. Special highlights are the impressive arcade courtyard, which is three storeys high, and the halls in the south wing with their marvellous stucco ceilings. The arcade courtyard has unique acoustics and makes every concert a success.
