Life Center 2000 Raaba

Right in the center of Raaba is the "Life Park 2000 ". Covering a total area of 11,000 m2, you can stroll along the twisted paths, rest on many benches or relax by lying on the lawn. In this inspiring and varied landscaped complex you can admire almost all year long flowering plants and natural rarities. In the middle of the park is the “Böhmer Villa” - about 100 years old, built in art nouveau style, acquired and renovated by the community in maintaining the old style. This house - now called "Ärztehaus Böhmervilla” and a medical center – gives home to six different doctor’s surgeries.

A more than 1 km long network of narrow trails runs through Raaba's green lung. In the center of the inner path-circle is a 4.8 ton "ore stones" which is overrun with water. This rock is a gift to Joseph Gangl from the Styrian Erzberg. The stone contains 16 different ores, which can be found in the Styrian Erzberg.
