COURSE PROGRAM

Concert, solo and chamber music literature by choice of the participants.
This year the focal point will be laid on chamber-music.
During the course ensembles with students and teachers shall be created.
Established ensembles are very welcome!

Soloists: 4 individual lessons and chamber music lessons (if desired)
Ensembles: 4 lessons

The results of the course may be presented in student concerts and the final concert (27th July).

COURSE LOCALITY

The Benedictine monastery Stift Admont was founded in the year 1074. It is the oldest existing monastery of the province of Styria. The monastery was established as an important spiritual and cultural center during the past millenium. www.stift-admon.at

LEISURE TIME

A guided tour through out the museums are fix in the schedule (free admission).
Swimmingpool on-site.
Please bring adequate shoes and comfortable clothes and do not forget that it can be quite cold in the mountains even in summer.

COSTS

The registration fee is € 45,-- and has to be transferred to the bank account below at the time of registration. The tuiton fee amounts € 300,-- and can be paid latest on the first course day in cash at the course office. An ensemble pays one tuiton fee and each member one registration fee (e.g.: quartet: EUR 300 plus 4 x EUR 45). The course fee covers all musical activities on the Summer Academy.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD

We would love to help you with arranging accomodation packages in cosy small hotels and B&Bs right next to the monastery (walking distance at most 10 minutes). The average price for b&b is from € 300,-- (double room) to 380,-- (single room). There is the possibility to take part at common lunches with all teachers and students (Costs per meal € 5,-).
