Artistic education
Born in Salzburg, studies with Helmut Zehetmair, Corrado Romano, Ernst Kovacic and Philippe Hirschhorn.

Artistic career
1997 - 2008 first concert master at Volksoper Vienna;
2000 founder of the ensemble AMARCORD WIEN (cast violin, cello, double base, accordion) with repertoire from ethnic music,original compositions over arrangements of classical pieces to compositions dedicated to AMARCORD;
Since 2005 first violinist of Hugo Wolf Quartet;
Concerts at all internationally important music centers; as soloist performances with Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, Camerata Academica Salzburg, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Dresden Philharmonic, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and Vienna Academic Philharmonic and conductors such as Sandor Vegh, Lothar Zagrosek, Trevor Pinnock, Günther Herbig or Yehudi Menuhin.

2005 debut with his comedyshow "Tandem" together with Aleksey Igudesman at the "Wiener Musikverein". The show "Sebastian the Cyberconducter" was performed with "Oberösterreichische Jugendsinfonieorchester" and the "Niederösterreichische Tonkünstler".

Teaching activities

Coaching of strings and violin groups at Oberösterreichisches Jugendsinfonieorchester, Symphonic Orchestra Vorarlberg, Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra and Vienna Academic Philharmonic;Preparation of violin players for auditions.

With AMARCORD „Amarcord Wien plays Astor Piazzolla“, „Pictures at an exhibition“, pieces by Satie; „Bearing fruit“ with Daisy Jopling, Wolfgang & Gerhard Muthspiel; recordings for ORF („Sheherazade“) and Austrian National Bank („Wertvolle Klänge“).
